We are Jovial.

Our vision is to develop more empowered, connected, and jovial workplaces that drive the world’s innovation.

Hey there!

With over 25 years of combined experience across industries like product management, finance, design, and even working at an ice cream shop, we’ve tackled all kinds of challenges. Along the way, we discovered something crucial: the biggest obstacles weren’t about our skills, degrees, or fancy office perks. The real issue was ineffective collaboration.

We realized that true success comes from people working well together. Whether it’s aligning on goals or solving tough problems, collaboration is the key.

Now, we’re on a mission to help teams overcome these barriers and achieve more together. Let's make workplaces more jovial!

  • How do I sign up for an upcoming public class?
On our services - classes page, you can register interest for classes you’d like to sign up for or be alerted of new schedules or updates. Once available, we will email you with a link where you can register and pay for a class.
  • Are your classes in-person or virtual?
Currently, our initial offerings are in-person in the Greater Boston area; however, we will be expanding our offerings to include virtual soon. If you’re interested in virtual offerings or having us come to your city, please contact us!
  • Do you offer self-serve, asynchronous classes?
Not at this time. Our teaching approach relies on the interactive, engaging activities amongst participants to reinforce learnings within a cohort-like atmosphere. We may consider this in the future for certain topics.
  • How is this different from any other communication, soft skills classes out there?
First and foremost, our experience. Between co-founders Sandra and Rick, they have managed and coached teams collaborating across nearly all teams within an organization. This translates into real world scenarios that are used in our classes and can be directly applied in your own roles and teams. Secondly, our classes are engaging. We share tactical approaches that are practiced within class and then can be applied immediately outside the classroom. We guarantee you’ll have fun! Lastly, we’ll be there for you beyond the classroom. Our program includes activities, peer groups, and community events after classes to support you on your journey.
  • How much do your classes and programs cost for enterprises?
The cost depends on the number of participants and the level of offering selected. We will collaborate with you to determine the optimal options for your organization and be transparent on pricing and terms. Reach out to learn more.
  • Is this only for entry level employees?
No! Our courses are applicable to anyone, regardless of role, tenure, level. We believe communication is one of those skills where there is always something new to be learned, observed, and practiced. And the fact of the matter is, even as adults, many of us never really learned what good communication looks like.
